Our Community Transport Scheme

The Community Transport scheme is  designed to provide transport to meet the needs of the community.

Our aim is to provide the community with a cost effective form of transport. We also provide bus hire to other non-profit organisations as well as community groups.

We are working hard to fulfil the ethos of our Mission Statement:

“working at the heart of the community to provide affordable and accessible transport to local organisations”.

Training

We offer a training programme and certification – MIDAS. This is a nationally recognised training programme, all drivers driving our buses must hold the MIDAS certificate. MIDAS complies with Glasgow City Council health & safety policy.

Interested in becoming a volunteer driver? Join our team! We provide relevant training to our volunteers. To find out more information contact our volunteer co-ordinator, Liz Skelton, on 141 331 7678 or email elizabethskelton@centralhalls.org. Head over to our volunteering page for more information.

For more information on bus hire or MIDAS training, please contact John Morgan on 0141 331 7674 or email at johnmorgan@centralhalls.org
