Action Day 2018

‘On the 14th of February, Happy Days Nursery’s Eco Committee organised Action Day. This was part of their campaign to encourage the community to be more conscious of the environment.

The Eco Committee aimed to raise awareness of the litter that is found on the streets. This was to Highlight the impact litter has on young children as they make way to school and nursery. Children, parents and people from the community participated in the Action Day litter pick.

Congratulations on a Successful Action Day

Congratulations to the children from Happy Days Nursery and Safe ’til Six for completing a successful litter pick with the help from parents and people from the community! They did an amazing job collecting 17 bags of rubbish and finding over 30 examples of when there had been “inconsiderate dog owners”.

Our story was also featured in the EveningTimes!
