Our Community Transport Scheme

The Community Transport scheme is  designed to provide transport to meet the needs of the community.

Our aim is to provide the community with a cost effective form of transport. We also provide bus hire to other non-profit organisations as well as community groups.

We are working hard to fulfil the ethos of our Mission Statement:

“working at the heart of the community to provide affordable and accessible transport to local organisations”.

We offer a training programme and certification – MIDAS. This is a nationally recognised training programme, all drivers driving our buses must hold the MIDAS certificate. MIDAS complies with Glasgow City Council health & safety policy.

Interested in becoming a volunteer driver? Join our team! We provide relevant training to our volunteers. To find out more information contact our volunteer co-ordinator, Liz Skelton, on 141 331 7678 or email Head over to our volunteering page for more information.

For more information on bus hire or MIDAS training, please contact John Morgan on 0141 331 7674 or email at
